A research and development process lead by a research theme

A focus on improving teacher ability to anticipate pupils learning approaches, problems and solutions

An opportunity to experience (open house) lesson study within a group of schools within Ealing, both mainstream and special
A chance to experience being part of the whole process (cycle) of lesson study
An opportunity to ask questions as part of the lesson study research group
An introduction to lesson study lead by Sarah Seleznyov from the IOE
An understanding of lesson principles, practice and processes based on the Japanese model
An understanding of the lesson study process and its potential to impact on pupil outcomes familiarisation with a set of lesson study impact tools and their use in shaping effective professional development for teachers
An opportunity to hear about lesson study research that has made an impact in Ealing schools
An informal setting providing the chance to ask questions to teachers who have been involved in the process
Learn about planning for and measuring the impact of lesson study on teacher practice and pupil learning explore leadership skills that will enable the lesson study process to be of high quality and make a difference to learning
