Continual Professional Development

Ealing Primary Teaching School Alliance provides a broad portfolio of training opportunities, which we constantly evaluate, improve and broaden.

Our portfolio includes a number of nationally recognised programmes by well-established, respected educational organisations. We offer training developed through our own understanding and research into how pupils learn best and the most effective practice that makes a difference.

We recognise the importance of training all staff, not only to be effective in their professional roles but also to prepare them for further successful responsibilities. We work with Strategic Partners to offer a framework of professional development from the first three years of teaching through to Headship. We also deliver training programmes for specialist teachers including conferences specifically for SENCo’s and other senior leadership roles.

Our special schools deliver their own bespoke training opportunities for support staff which includes workshops and visits to specialist settings. The Outstanding Teaching Assistant Programme is delivered on an annual basis and always well attended. The Autism Education Trust Tier 1 and Tier 2 are jointly delivered by two of our special schools and is open to all staff.

The Alliance can offer CPD in other schools. These can either be from our portfolio or bespoke programmes to meet your needs. We jointly facilitate and deliver comprehensive professional development opportunities for all school staff throughout Ealing and the wider community.
